Nick Cannon got tongues wagging after he was spotted at his birthday bash showing off a new tattoo, raising suspicions he had erased his ex-wife’s name, Mariah, from his back.
Now the America’s Got Talent host has shown off his new tattoo in all his glory.
Nick, who split with Mariah after six years of marriage earlier this year, was spotted leaving the gym in Studio City earlier today.
Rather than wait for the dust to settle, it looks as though Nick has gone for full steam ahead by moving on, and one of the first things to go was his Mariah tattoo.
Over the weekend, Mariah was performing in Tokyo where she appeared to take a swipe at her ex on stage, according to a new report.
The 44-year-old star was performing a rendition of Billie Holiday’s classic song Don’t Explain, when she reportedly changed the lyrics to: “I know you cheated, motherf*****,” which have left her fans speculating if she was referring to her ex.
The funnyman and DJ was caught topless last week in Hollywood, where his new inking was unveiled for the first time.
Nick was out for an early birthday celebration at Playhouse on Thursday, and he took a spin on the decks.
A few videos of the newly single star have surfaced on Instagram, showing Nick sporting a huge crucifix that has been put over the original tattoo.
That must have hurt!
Last month, Nick Cannon broke his silence over his split -
telling us that he felt "great".
Speaking to Mirror Online the charity event Get Lucky
For Lupus LA at the Avalon, Hollywood, a smiling Nick, 33,
said of his divorce: "I feel great thanks, I'm healthy and I'm happy."
Dressed in a black and white blazer, Nick posed up
with Unbreak My Heart singer Toni Braxton on the red
carpet. He certainly didn't look like he was missing Mazza
one bit.
Later he spoke on stage of how he is getting
on with his life as a single man. He said: "I wasn't
to go out singing, dancing and playing poker,
though I can't play that.
"Last night I was in New York, I've been busy."
Nick hosted the fundraising event to raise awareness for Lupus,
a disease that can cause chronic fatigue, which he says he
suffers from,
describing himself as a "fellow luppo." Other celebrities at
describing himself as a "fellow luppo." Other celebrities at
the glittering event were Verne Troyer and AJ McLean of the
Backstreet Boys.
Nick and Butterfly singer Mariah, 44, hinted that their marriage
had ended when Cannon appeared in public without a wedding
ring.
Earlier this month it was confirmed they were seeking a divorce.
They are parents to three-year-old twins Monroe and Morrocco.
