Chris Brown denied entrance to Canada, just hours before concerts

The Canadian government denied Chris Brown entry into the country yesterday just hours before a scheduled performance. Chris took to Twitter to announce to fans...in a dignified manner. He tweeted;
"Unfortunately I will not be able to perform in front of sold out crowds in Montreal & Toronto. The good people of the Canadian government wouldn't allow me entry. I'll be back this summer and will hopefully see all my Canadian fans!"
Chris was scheduled to perform in Montreal yesterday night and Toronto this night. And fans had already bought tickets. Not nice! Die hard Chris Brown fans are now asking the US govt to ban Justin Bieber - who is Canadian - from entry into the US. According to TMZ, Canadian law dictates a person could be "criminally inadmissible" if they have been convicted of a crime involving assault.

Photos: Kenyan school children tear-gased for protesting against a developer who 'grabbed' their playground

Pupils of Langata primary school in Kenya were this morning tear-gassed by Kenya Police following their protest against a certain land developer who they say 'stole' part of their school's land which is their playground. The land developer wants to turn it into private property.

According to reports from Kenya, the school authority had written to the government asking for help to stop their land from being taken over by the developer but their letters were not attended to. Seeing that their teachers were helpless, the school children decided to hold a protest in front of their school this morning.

They however got more than they bargained for as the police tear gassed them, which caused a stampede. Five of the children have been rushed to the hospital at the moment. More pics after the cut

Michelle Rodriguez says she can't be with someone more than 6 months

In an interview in Interview magazine this week, Fast & Furious actress Michelle Rodriguez, who has dated women and men including co-star Vin Diesel, actor Zac Efron and topmodel, Cara Delevingne, said she can't be with anyone for more than six months.
"Look at me! I have absolutely nothing consistent in my life. But that's where serendipity comes in and I love that. One day I'm going to have to sacrifice that to bring life into the world. But the more I can hold off on that, the happier I'll be. It's scary for me. I'm a lone wolf…the thought of being in a long-lasting relationship? Psh, I couldn't last more than six months with somebody, let alone have a father figure around for a kid…
About having kids, she said;
"Having kids — don't leave that sh*t to me. I'll get a surrogate. I do what I want, when I want, how I want, and because of that, it has taken me so long to grow into an adult human being. I wouldn't want to sacrifice the last years that I have of being youthful in this business to have kids…It's been 15 years since I was the lead in my own feature, in Girlfight. So I haven't done what I came here to do…I don't want to sell myself short by having a kid and then regret not doing what I set out to do."

 In the course of the internet affair, Ikechukwu promised his victim marriage and later began to make monetary demands on her, using various excuses. Once, he told her that he had problems with government officials and requested for a loan. He later cajoled her into partnering with him on a phantom timber business. The last request he made before he was arrested was a demand for $10,000 to enable him travel to Denmark to meet her. It was while he was attempting to draw the $100 sent by the victim( instead of the $10,000 requested) through Western Union that he was arrested. The suspect would be arraigned in court as soon as investigation is completed.
